​Film summary:The plot of the film is based on a real criminal case, when a gang of criminals killed prominent military leaders in order to steal their military awards. The robbery and death of the general of the Great Patriotic War was entrusted to investigate MUR Major Andrey Talantsev. Talantsev goes to the gunners of the bandits. But a recidivist thief named Valek manages to outplay the detective. During the investigation, Andrei saves a young lonely woman, Elena, and falls in love with her.
